Finding motivation as the weather changes and time changes can be hard for most of us. You wake up and it's dark, you get off work and it's dark. Where is the sunlight to wake us up bright and early or that late summer evening to give us time to go on our evening jogs?
It's important to take this change easy on yourself and set up a new routine. Here is one new major adjustment I have implemented to keep my days on a positive and motivated course:
-Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier.
I do this so I can get up on time. When it is darker I tend to be stuck to my blankets lol. I know I am not the only one. This also gives me ample time to make sure I don't break my morning ritual which consist of the following.
-5 minute morning stretch
-speaking out loud what I am thankful for
then I turn on my gospel music and hop in the shower & give praise at the top of my lungs.
I have noticed that when I pass on this morning routine of mine, I don't go about my day as I usually do. My vibe isn't on point the way it usually is. This is why I make sure I make small adjustments to my schedule to make sure I do everything in my power to make sure my day goes the best it can.
